Vapid: rhymes with rapid but isn't

vapid, belligerent, noisome, otiose

I shall try and include all of these words because I don't really know what they mean, even though I have already looked them up once.

Green
The green beard effect was a term first probably coined by Richard Dawkins. The idea is that a gene capable of transmitting two complex phenotypes would be highly successful in the "pool". Specifically, if the gene  gave its "owner" an outstanding physical trait like a green beard and simultaneously identified the individual as a cooperator, then it would pay green bearded men to cooperate with one another.

No green beards

Looks familiar

Add caption
Super hero. Looks pretty muscly to me. Not terribly sure about his ability to swing Tarzan-like through the crime-plagued metropolis, but in jumping up and down on the bed (and on daddy) this arachnid has no peers.

Unfathomable look
During the five days over carnival, the local festival, Jacky was with me and his granny. We practically wore out the dominoes and kicked a lot of football.

Might be Dead

Most definitely alive

Carnival at the school

Today's poem:

Say Bazonka every day
That's what my grandma used to say
It keeps at bay the Asian Flu'
And both your elbows free from glue.
So say Bazonka every day
(That's what my grandma used to say)

Don't say it if your socks are dry!
Or when the sun is in your eye!
Never say it in the dark
(The word you see emits a spark)
Only say it in the day
(That's what my grandma used to say)

Young Tiny Tim took her advice
He said it once, he said it twice
he said it till the day he died
And even after that he tried
To say Bazonka! every day
Just like my grandma used to say.

Now folks around declare it's true
That every night at half past two
If you'll stand upon your head
And shout Bazonka! from your bed
You'll hear the word as clear as day
Just like my grandma used to say!
